Formed in 2017 Just be a Child – Kenya CBO with the ultimate goal of giving as many individuals including children and schools access to books.
With our main partner and second-hand book provider Just be a Child UK we ship between 30,000 and 40,000 books from the UK to Kenya every year. The books range from children storybooks, to novels for adults, textbooks for schools and university students, and references including dictionaries, atlases, ‘know-how’ type books and more.
Our mission is to distribute even more books throughout Kenya, but also beyond our borders. If you would like to receive books from us please get in touch.
